Choix NETATMO thermostat ou NETATMO thermostat modulant intelligent (open therm)

Bonjour à tous

Je dois remplacer le thermostat sans fil qui pilotait ma chaudière.
Je voudrais installer un thermostat connecté Netatmo.
Je viens de voir que depuis fin octobre Netatmo a sorti un nouveau thermostat modulant intelligent. Il est plus cher que le précédent.

J'ai une chaudière Viessmann à condensation installée en 2014, qui est compatible open therm. Viessmann m'a indiqué qu'on pouvait y brancher un thermostat soit "open therm" soit "contact sec".

Voici ma question : à votre avis, y a-t-il un intérêt à choisir le nouveau thermostat modulant intelligent de Netatmo (open therm) par rapport au classique qui est un thermostat "tout ou rien" "contact sec" sauf erreur de ma part ?
